Paulo borrachinha has a new target in its sights: Khamzat Shimaev. After win Roman Kopylov in the co-main fight of UFC 318, last Saturday (19), the Brazilian used his post-fight speech to accuse the Chechen of sending private messages to his wife, which further heightened the tension between the two.

Chimaev quickly reacted on social media and denied the accusations, claiming that it was Borrachinha's wife who first contacted him. The Minas Gerais native, however, refuted his rival's version and stated that he wants to resolve the situation as soon as possible, preferably inside the octagon.

“He’s lying,” said Borrachinha.

With an eye on the next step, Borrachinha declared that he intends to be present at the UFC 319, which will be held in Chicago, the city where 'Lobo' is scheduled to fight.

“If the UFC allows it, I’ll be in Chicago in a few weeks,” concluded the Minas Gerais native.

Hours after the press conference, Paulo borrachinha sent a new message to Chimaev. through 'X' The Brazilian stated that he will take the Chechen out of the 'cave' where he would be hiding, making clear his intention to confront his enemy as soon as possible.
