With 17 career wins, Ilia Topuria has impressed with the way he has been overcoming his opponents inside the octagon. The Spaniard has only left two of his victories in the judges' hands and has accumulated eight submissions and seven knockouts. However, one of his victims claims have the key to defeating him and believes that it would cause problems for the champion if the confrontation between them had taken place under different conditions.

During media day for the UFC Abu Dhabi, Bryce mitchell downplayed Topuria's undefeated record and pointed out potential flaws in the champion's game. According to the American, the featherweight champion would struggle if he were put on the ground by Islam makhachev ou Arman Tsarukyan.
