Who followed the UFC Abu Dhabi last Saturday (26) he was certainly worried about the state of his face Mohammad Yahya, who suffered one of the most impressive facial injuries in UFC history after taking a brutal series of blows from Steven Nguyen. Click here to know the details.
The alarming swelling and record number of knockdowns—seven in total—captured fans' attention, but post-fight scans brought significant relief. According to ESPN journalist Karyn Bryant, Yahya underwent CT scans of his head and face, which came back negative for an orbital fracture.

"He had a CT scan of his head and face. The results were negative, so there's no orbital fracture. It looked pretty gruesome, but this is great news," said ESPN's Karyn Bryant.
In the first round alone, Steven Nguyen scored five knockdowns on Mohammad Yahya. Fighting at home, the 'UAE Warrior' demonstrated great resilience and quickly got up from every fall, remaining active and seeking victory.
Surprising everyone, in the second round it was the Emirati athlete who knocked Nguyen down with strikes for the first time. The American, however, quickly got back to his feet and regained control of the fight, punishing Yahya with a thorough beating.
The situation left Mohammad with a significant swelling below the home athlete's left eye. He survived two more knockdowns and survived until the end of the second round, but the event doctor prevented him from continuing the fight.
