LFA 213 delivered one of the most impactful moments in MMA in 2025 so far. And the person responsible for it goes by the name of Loai Abushaar. In less than a minute, the lightweight (up to 70,3kg) not only won last Saturday (26), but also made sure to leave a mark with an outcome worthy of 'Knockout of the Year'.

Early in his fight against Edmund Kwan, Abushaar displayed composure and explosiveness. Just 51 seconds into the fight, he landed a precise flying knee that exploded on Kwan's chin and instantly knocked out his previously undefeated opponent. The takedown was hard, and the referee immediately stopped the fight, leaving no room for doubt.

With the result, Abushaar achieved his fifth professional victory, all by knockout or submission. He thus maintains his impressive 100% win rate and now has two consecutive victories since his only loss, suffered in August 2023.

More than just a triumph, Loai's performance could be enough to put him in contention for a spot in the world's top MMA organizations. Watch the knockout video below!
