Paulo borrachinha e Reinier DeRidder seem to have started a new rivalry in the UFC middleweight division (up to 83,9 kg). "I'll fight you, De Ridder, I can't promise I'll hug you for 15 minutes. Yeah, you look a little weird, but you're not really a woman. And I don't need to wait until November for this fight with you," Paulo wrote.

It all started when Paulo borrachinha made a point of minimizing the performance of Reinier DeRidder who won Robert whittaker at UFC Abu Dhabi.

"With all due respect, I would knock out De Ridder three times, in any round. That said, congratulations on the win today, despite the bad fight," Paulo wrote in a post on 'X'.

If the intention of Paulo borrachinha was to get a fight against Reinier DeRidder in the next round, it seems he succeeded. In his response, De Ridder recalled Borrachinha's recent negative record compared to his own results and challenged the Brazilian to a fight in November.
