The gesture immortalized by Max Holloway No. UFC 300 and repeated in victory against Dustin poirier has become a trend in the world of MMA, but not everyone has the same skill to pull off the bold move. Last Saturday (2), during the American Kombat Alliance 48 event, held in Louisiana (USA), Glen Norman tried to repeat the scene that consecrated the Hawaiian, but ended up being brutally knocked out soon after. Watch the video below.
In the fight, valid for the welterweight category (up to 77 kg), Norman pointed to the center of the cage and invited his opponent, Byron Walker, to do the so-called 'frank exchange', a gesture identical to the one carried out by Holloway against Justin gaethje.

However, unlike what happened with the BMF belt champion, the outcome was much less glorious: a few seconds after the gesture, the rival connected a devastating sequence of crosses, which knocked out Norman while he was still standing.
The video of the scene went viral on social media, generating an avalanche of comments from fans and experts alike. Many pointed out that the attempt to imitate Holloway without using the same technique was a crucial mistake that cost the amateur athlete dearly. Watch the scene below!
