The 38-year-old veteran overcame a balanced first round against Elizeu 'Capoeira' and took advantage of the Brazilian's fatigue to apply a devastating sequence of knee strikes, achieving the knockout. The victory ends a difficult period in Magny's career, who had suffered two consecutive defeats and hadn't won since January 2024. For Elizeu Capoeira, also 38 years old, the result represents another setback: this was his second consecutive loss, with only one victory in his last five appearances.
