Just under two months away from the long-awaited rematch between Alex Poatán e Magomed Ankalayev, for the UFC light heavyweight belt (up to 93 kg), the former fighter and commentator Chael Sonnen expressed concern about what may lie ahead for Brazilians.
In an interview with reporter Mike Bohn, the former fighter and commentator assessed the first meeting between the two athletes and questioned Poatan's future if another defeat is confirmed in the... UFC 320, scheduled for October 4th in Las Vegas. He stated that another defeat doesn't necessarily shake the former champion's status and reinforced his desire to see him move up a weight class.

"I think he'll lose again. But I don't think it hurts him. I still want to see him at heavyweight. As a fan, that's what I want. Being a three-division champion would be incredible. If he did that, the GOAT debate would be over," the American analyzed.
Poatan tries to recover after setback
The rematch between Poatan and Ankalaev has been officially announced as the main event. UFC 320, which takes place at T-Mobile Arena.
The current light heavyweight champion, the Russian dominated much of the previous fight with a strategy based on pressure and territorial control, especially against the fence, to neutralize the Brazilian's knockout power.
For the event, the UFC also confirmed the presence of Jiri Prochazka as a reserve fighter. The Czech, a former division champion, has already faced Alex Poatán on two occasions, losing both times.
