Considered one of the greatest fighters in Bellator history, Patrício Pitbull failed to deliver his best performance in his UFC debut. The Brazilian struggled to impose his game and ended up losing to Yair Rodriguez by unanimous decision. In his next fight, the fighter from Rio Grande do Norte recovered by defeating Dan Ige , also by decision, securing his position as the 11th ranked fighter in the featherweight division (up to 65,7 kg).

There is great anticipation among fans that Patrício Pitbull 's third fight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will take place at UFC Rio, scheduled for October 11th. If this is confirmed, the former Bellator champion will be an important addition to the card, which will feature Charles Oliveira as the main event.
