In the post-match press conference, Hernandez revealed that he lost his temper due to the anger caused by Dolidze's blows. Despite the intensity of his emotions, he made it clear that his reaction had nothing personal against his opponent.

"I almost lost my cool. I was pissed off and saw the neck and thought, 'Fuck you.' In the end, congratulations to Roman... When I get hit, I lose my temper, I get angry, and I want to kill you. But it's nothing personal," Hernandez said.

At another point during the fight, Hernandez stated that he became irritated and attacked his opponent, provoking him. However, his coaches managed to intervene in time, calming him down and reminding him that, despite the tension, fighting requires emotional control.
