Jean Silva believe that Diego lopes made a crucial mistake by agreeing to face him in UFC NightIn an interview with MMA Junkie, the Fighting Nerds representative pointed out that "El Brabo's" own team didn't want the fight. However, his rival took the initiative, and now, according to him, all that's left is to finish the job.

"I understand that, for Diego's manager, fighting me wasn't something he wanted. But then Diego went online and said he'd fight me this weekend if he could. Basically, Diego played matchmaker and signed his own coffin. So, screw it. That's it. He signed. If that's where he wants to be, I'll just put some dirt in that coffin," he said. Jean Silva.

The fighter also made it clear that he has no affinity with Diego lopes, claiming there is a personal incompatibility between them. In Silva's view, their personalities don't mesh and there is no connection, although there is no specific reason for animosity outside the Octagon.

"It's no secret that I don't like the person he is. I'm not a fan of Diego, but I have nothing against him. In Brazil, we say, 'Our saints don't get along.' Our guardian angels don't get along. They don't like each other… I just don't like them. We don't fit together, we don't connect. You tolerate her, but you can't beat her," continued the Fighting Nerds representative.
