About to enter fight week UFC 319, against Khamzat Shimaev, Dricus du Plessis dedicated precious hours to watching the previous event, the UFC Las Vegas 109. The middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg) reacted to a duel in his category. In the main fight of the event held at the Apex, anthony hernandez brutalized Roman Dolidze and won by submission with a rear naked choke applied in the fourth round.

Fluffy dominates Dolidze

Considered one of the biggest challenges in the division, anthony hernandez claimed another victim with his house specialty: jiu-jitsu. Without letting Roman Dolidze had time to think during the main fight of UFC Vegas 109, 'Fluffy' forced the Georgian to tap out in the fourth round after applying a tight rear naked choke to his opponent. Dominant from the first round, Hernandez successfully combined his strategies to confuse Dolidze. Already exhausted from the pace imposed by the division prospect, the veteran quickly tapped out after being caught in the neck by his rival in the penultimate round.

PUBLICITY:

With the victory, Hernandez is hoping to take over the ninth-place spot held by Dolidze and is already asking his officials for the opportunity to challenge for the weight class next. The fighter has only two losses in 11 appearances in the Octagon.
