After the first fight was cancelled, Geoff neal finally the day approaches when you will face Carlos Prates in the octagon. Scheduled for the UFC 319, the fighters generate great expectations among many fans, who hope to see a violent confrontation between stand-up fighting experts. The event takes place this Saturday (16), in Chicago (USA).
Known for his knockout power and having defeated numerous opponents with his fists, Neal echoes MMA fans when commenting on what he expects from the fight against Prates. The veteran candidly admitted that the bout will be explosive and emphasized the need for defense to prevent the worst from happening.

"Whoever can avoid getting hit will win. I really feel like it's going to be a one-round fight. That's my goal. Of course, I'm training for three rounds, but I'm really training for a one-round fight. There's no reason this fight should go beyond the first round," Neal said in an interview with Home of Fight.
When asked about how he sees the outcome of the fight, Geoff warned the Brazilian about the intention of tiring him out in order to get a knockout midway through the first round.
"I see myself knocking him out in the first round. It probably won't happen early, but it will probably happen in the last few minutes, maybe three minutes. That's the goal: go in there, wear him down, attack him hard, and then take him down," he concluded.
