Aaron Pico is about to debut in the biggest MMA organization in the world. Next Saturday (16), the American will face Lerone murphy in the co-main event of UFC 319. Coming from PFL, the lightweight (up to 65,7 kg) was asked about the possibility of a fight with a colleague from his former company: Patrick Pitbull. Pico reacted with a negative response.

“I saw his first fight live, I didn't watch his last… I'm not really interested in fighting him. He had many opportunities to fight me in Bellator, and I asked to fight him for a whole year straight, and for some reason it never happened. I'm very happy it didn't happen, because I beat Patricio 'Pitbull' and won the championship," said Aaron Pico in an interview with 'CBS Sports'.
"He had every opportunity to fight me, but now he's like, 'Oh, I want to fight him, I want to fight him,' but we're completely different now. I'm not focused on him, I'm focused on fighting for the championship."
Pitbull claims he is ready to fight
Packed by your first victory in the UFC, Patrick Pitbull doesn't want to waste time in the world's biggest organization. After a bitter debut in UFC 314, in which he was defeated by unanimous decision to Yair Rodriguez, the potiguar turned things around by beating Dan Ige at UFC 318. Now, at 38 years old, he wants to return to the octagon as soon as possible and promised news to his fans.
In a post on 'X' (formerly Twitter), Patrício stated that he is ready to return to fighting and that he has communicated his availability to the UFC after a brief break for rest. The fighter is awaiting confirmation of his next fight.
