One of only two athletes to secure a contract with the UFC through the first episode of the current season of Contender Series, last Tuesday (12), Baysangur Susurkaev impressed Dana White so much that he has already secured a place on the UFC 319 card, this Saturday (16), just four days after being hired.
The 24-year-old middleweight, who needed just three minutes to knock out Murtaza Talha Ali in Contender, will face American Eric Nolan at UFC 319. The page 'Zaclikesmma' was the first to confirm the fight, on the social network 'X' (formerly Twitter).

Fighting at UFC 319 was a direct request from Baysangur Susurkaev after his Contender Series victory. Susurkaev's training partner Khamzat Shimaev, challenger for the middleweight belt in the main fight of the event, the Russian made himself available to the organization immediately after securing the contract.
“I'm very happy. I really wanted to impress Dana. I'm happy I did that and secured the contract. I asked Dana to give me the opportunity to fight on the same card as Khamzat Shimaev"I'm willing and available. If you want to give me a chance, you know how to find me and who to call," Susurkaev declared at the time.
At 24 years old, Baysangur Susurkaev is undefeated in professional MMA, with nine wins in nine fights, eight of which were by knockout and seven in the first round. The Russian's opponent, Eric Nolan, is also making his UFC debut. The American is a former Cage Fury champion and has a professional record of eight wins and three losses.
With Baysangur Susurkaev scheduled, UFC 319 takes place this Saturday (16), in Chicago, United States. In the main fight of the event, Dricus du Plessis defends the middleweight belt against Khamzat Shimaev.
