Apparently, the preparation for the rematch against Magomed Ankalayev will once again be the main focus of Alex Poatán. Recently, the Brazilian was heavily criticized by fans when he revealed that participated in the filming from the movie 'Onslaught' while training to face the Russian in UFC 320However, now that the former champion has finished his participation in the feature film, he can turn his full attention to his rival.

In a video posted on his Instagram stories, Alex Poatán celebrated the end of filming in Argentina, noting that the work was a success and that his performance impressed the team. The former light heavyweight champion expressed satisfaction with the result and highlighted the positive atmosphere throughout the production.

"Hey, everyone! Last day here in Argentina. I'm with the guys... Last day, the recordings were a success. The whole crowd was fascinated by my performance, and I'm very happy about that," he said. Alex Poatán.

With good humor, Poatan even joked about his reputation as a “traveler”, showing irony when asking what his next destination would be after filming ended.

Adria Arjona, who is currently dating Hawaiian star Jason Momoa (Aquaman), shares the lead role with Poatan, whose casting as the villain 'The Butcher' was a personal choice by the director. According to Wingard, the role is an opportunity for the Brazilian to showcase his martial arts skills, including chokeholds and spinning kicks.

Despite the recordings, Alex Poatán also has commitments in the octagon. The Brazilian is scheduled to face Magomed Ankalayev in the main fight of UFC 320, scheduled for October 4th, when he will attempt to regain the light heavyweight division belt.
