Everything is ready for the grand and long-awaited UFC 319. On the morning of this Friday (15), the athletes scheduled for this Saturday's event (16) went through the challenge against the scales. Protagonists of the card, Dricus du Plessis e Khamzat Shimaev did not disappoint and confirmed their fight for the title in the middleweight division (up to 83,9 kg).

Heading into his third title defense, Dricus stepped onto the scales with a confident expression and, as usual, had no problems weighing in at 83,9kg, a weight that allows him to step into the octagon. UFC 319. Challenging the throne for the first time in his time in the Ultimate, Chimaev once again showed that weight cutting is no longer a problem as in the past and with the help of the screen, he reached 83kg.

As announced the night before, through social media, Caio Borralho fulfilled his promise and officially confirmed his presence as an immediate reserve for the title fight. UFC 319Weighing in at 83,4 kg, the fighter is now available if Du Plessis or Chimaev are forced to withdraw from the main fight of the event that will take place in Chicago (USA).

First to perform at the event, Karina Silva e Dione Barbosa, who will have a rematch, also successfully stepped on the scale. At 56,7 kg and 56,9 kg, respectively, the fighters are eligible to fight in the flyweight division (up to 56,7 kg).

Back to lightweight (up to 70,3 kg), Edson Barboza attended the official weigh-in and, like a good veteran, showed that he still has the discipline for weigh-ins. Scheduled to face Drakkar Klose, the Brazilian weighed 70,5 kg.
