"Without a doubt... This is great, it's the kind of fight I want. These are exactly the fights I've been asking for. If he (Prates) is happy, I'd be happy to face him too, and I'd love to fight in Brazil," he declared.
The British fighter also highlighted the affectionate relationship he has with Brazilian fans, remembering that, during his career at Bellator, he was compared to Anderson Silva.
“I have had fans in Brazil for many years. I remember them calling me 'Anderson Silva of the United Kingdom,' which is a huge compliment. I've always had a lot of support from the Brazilian public, but I haven't been able to fight there yet. So, I would definitely like to have that opportunity," continued 'MVP'.
Despite the excitement, Page stressed that he needs to evaluate his physical condition after the victory against Cannonier, as he felt pain in his legs.
"I'll talk to my coaches. I feel fine, no real damage, just a little soreness in my legs, which is normal when they try to take you down and end up kicking your legs. But nothing serious, I'll be recovered in a week. Sounds pretty good to me," he concluded.
If the fight is made official, Page and Prates will reinforce the UFC Rio card, which will have as its main fight the duel between Charles of the Bronx e Raphael Fiziev.
