Sean Strickland is not impressed with the performance of Khamzat Shimaev. After the Chechen dominate Dricus Du Plessis and win the middleweight belt (up to 83,9 kg), the American took to social media to insult his rival and guarantee that he has what it takes to stop him.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Strickland positioned himself as the only UFC fighter capable of dominating Chimaev on the ground for five rounds and indicated that he will need to accumulate more victories before having the opportunity to face him.

Khamzat Chimaev remains undefeated and wins the UFC belt

With the victory over Du Plessis, Khamzat Shimaev he achieved 15 positive results on his resume and became an undefeated UFC champion, having defeated two former champions in a row, Kamaru Usman e Robert whittaker, until he won the belt.
Strickland, who has already won the division belt, has lost two of his last three fights, both to Dricus Du Plessis.
