The nerd emphasized his recent record, with seven wins, and stated that he wants to achieve another victory in Paris to firmly establish himself as the next challenger.
"I've won seven, all against tough opponents. I've earned three bonuses in my last four fights. I took on Cannonier and did what no one else has done to him: I stayed close to him and knocked him out. He should have been knocked out right there, but the referee didn't see it that way. I knew I deserved it, I knew I was in the lead. I know I need another win; I have to get to Paris and show why I'm the next challenger. I'll do that and represent Brazil once again," concluded Borralho.
The middleweight title race has become one of the most competitive in the UFC.
