Lerone murphy may be close to jumping the queue in the UFC's featherweight division (up to 65,7 kg). After Carlos Prates raise the arena in the UFC 319 with one rotating elbow, the Brit replicated the scene and knocked out Aaron Pico. In a post on 'X' (formerly Twitter), Alexander Volkanovsky congratulated Lerone murphy and suggested a duel against the Brit at the last pay-per-view event of 2025.
“See you in December (Lerone murphy), congratulations.”, wrote Volkanovski.

Lerone murphy responded to the champion in the press conference after the UFC 319The Briton stated that the date suggested by Volkanovski is perfect and, when projecting the duel, classified his rival as one of the greatest names in the history of the division.
"December would be perfect for me. It gives me time to recharge, spend time with family, work on some things, and come back even better. December would be great to share the octagon with Volkanovski, one of the greatest in featherweight history. I've added another name to my stellar resume. I'm now on a nine-fight winning streak. I have 10 UFC fights: one draw and nine wins. It's time for a title shot," said the Brit.
After his brutal knockout of Aaron Pico, Murphy couldn't hide his satisfaction with his performance. The Englishman stated that the result represented one of the most memorable moments of his career, possibly the best.
"It was incredible. This was one of the best moments of my career, if not the best. Co-main event, a brutal knockout against a quality opponent, I couldn't be happier," he concluded. Lerone murphy.
