The return of the Ultimate to Rio de Janeiro once again confirmed the strength of MMA in Brazil. Tickets for UFC Rio, which has Charles of the Bronx x Raphael Fiziev in the main fight and is scheduled for October 11, at Farmasi Arena, sold out just a few hours after sales began this Wednesday (20).

The expectation for the return of Charles of the Bronx to the Marvelous City was a determining factor in the high demand. A former lightweight champion, the São Paulo native will be the star of the night against the Kazakh Raphael Fiziev.

Ticket sales followed the recent pattern adopted by the organization: exclusive pre-sale for subscribers of UFC Fight Pass on Monday (18), advance sales for fans registered on the official website on Tuesday (19) and opening to the general public this Wednesday (20). Within a few hours, all sectors were already sold out.

UFC Rio brings Charles from the Bronx + former champion

In addition to the main event, the card features some big names to thrill the Brazilian fans. Former flyweight champion, Deiveson Figueiredo measure forces with Montel Jackson, while other national talents are also confirmed.

In total, there are nine clashes, with the expectation of the presence of Carlos Prates e Walter Walker, which have not yet been officially announced by the organization.

With a packed arena guaranteed, the UFC returns to Rio two years after the January 2023 edition, when Jamahal hill won Glover Teixeira and became light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg).
