In an interview with Home of Fight, Zhang reinforced that his desire is to face Prochazka, highlighting that this confrontation would be explosive and exciting for the audience.

“Jiri Prochazka… I think it would be a frank exchange of blows. If this fight actually happens, it won’t be boring at all, it will certainly be very, very exciting. I don’t want to fight in boring fights,” said the Chinese knockout artist.
The fighter also highlighted that Prochazka shares the same mentality, valuing dynamic and action-packed fights.
“He also believes it would be a striking fight. He also thinks this matchup would be great. He doesn't like boring fights, he prefers interesting bouts,” concluded Zhang Mingyang.
Undefeated in the UFC, Zhang is on an 11-fight winning streak, all achieved in the first round. For his goal of facing Prochazka to become a reality, he first needs to overcome Johnny Walker, who has suffered two knockout losses in his last three fights, in addition to a no-contest.
