Ian Garry is blasted by UFC welterweight standout, who accuses him of 'running away' from fights

Second-ranked Sean Brady claims he accepted two fights against Ian Garry, but received no response from the Irishman.

Things are heating up in the UFC welterweight division (up to 77,1 kg). Second in the category rankings, Sean brady took to social media to harshly criticize Ian Gary, claiming that the Irishman turned down two recent opportunities to face him. According to the American, he even accepted a duel in UFC 319, in Chicago, and later a main event in UFC Vancouver, but in both cases the confrontation never came to fruition.

“I got a call from my manager at International Fight Week at the end of June about fighting Ian Gary in Chicago, in the UFC 319I said yes, but I didn't hear anything for weeks, and I understood the UFC had moved on. Recently, they offered me the main event with Ian in Vancouver. I immediately said yes. I've been wanting to fight since May, and those were the only offers. I said yes twice. Now, I don't know why Ian is dragging his feet and they put me in... Ridder's Reinier and Fluffy Hernandez. I'm sitting here waiting again. Thanks, Ian, I missed another main event because of you, my friend," Brady said in an Instagram post.

Sean brady is going through a great phase and is coming off a major victory in March, when he finished off the former champion Leon edwards, achieving his third consecutive triumph. Ian Gary, in turn, also comes packed after overcoming Carlos Prates in their last performance, recovering from the defeat to Shavkat RakhmonovThe Irishman is ranked sixth.
