The victory of Johnny Walker The UFC Shanghai event this Saturday (23) was memorable for several reasons, but one specific moment caught the attention (and humor) of the internet: the clumsy takedown attempt in the opening seconds of the fight against Zhang Mingyang.
Even before the gloves touched, Walker went all out on his opponent with a double-leg attempt, but was easily blocked by the Chinese fighter and fell flat on his back. The unusual and unexpected scene went viral on social media, generating a series of memes and irreverent comments.

Despite a rocky start, Johnny managed to recover and won by TKO in the second round, using low kicks to undermine Zhang's stance and a flurry of strikes to force a referee stoppage. The victory ended a three-fight winless streak and also ended a troublesome Brazilian drought in UFC main events.
