Sean O'Malley may be packing his bags for a new division in the UFC. After being dominated by Merab Dvalishvili, lose the bantamweight belt (up to 61,2 kg) and not be able to recover in the revenge, the American is considering following his path in the top division.

In an interview with TMZ Sports, O'Malley admitted his desire to compete at featherweight (up to 65,2 kg), as it would be an easier weight cut. Despite this, the former champion believes there are still strong opponents to face at bantamweight.

"There are still big fights for me at bantamweight. 66 pounds will happen in the future, probably, very likely, but I still have work to do at 61 pounds. It would be easier to make 66 pounds, but we're still managing to do it healthily at 61 pounds," O'Malley said.
