Former UFC champion and PRIDE legend Quinton "Rampage" Jackson spoke out again after the violent episode involving his sonRaja Jackson, who assaulted wrestler Syko Stu during an event in California. The young man, trained in MMA, delivered a blow that knocked his rival unconscious and then landed more than 20 punches, resulting in him being hospitalized in serious condition.
Given the international repercussions of the case, Rampage used a livestream to explain himself. The veteran opened his heart, lamenting the incident, but emphasizing his role as a father during a difficult time.

"It's hard for me to talk about this, but I'll be 100%. I feel bad about what happened to Syko Stu. I don't approve of what my son did at all; it was very, very unfortunate. If I had been there, it wouldn't have happened this way. But I wasn't there," he declared.
The former champion then stressed the importance of defending Raja, even though he recognizes the gravity of the case.
"I'm a father, so I need to defend my son. I'll let justice take its course. There's not much I can do other than be a father. You know I can't talk about this, I can't go into details. I hope you respect that. It's not my place to say anything; we need to let things take their course."
Rampage also showed empathy for the victim and her family.
“It put me in a bad mood. I feel bad for Syko Stu and his family. They had to watch it all happen. I wish I could have been there, but I couldn't. I was helping my daughter move to college. It was a really bad time.”
With the repercussion on social media and even influencers like Mr. Beast commenting on the case, the former fighter criticized the way the
episode is being explored.
“Everything is on the internet now, I see a lot of people editing videos for clickbait, to make money. It's not fair. A lot of people are showing their racist side. I'm not defending my son, I'm just telling the truth. I'm doing what any father would do. Sometimes you're proud of your son, sometimes you're not. But at the end of the day, you're still a father. I hope one day I can meet Syko Stu, shake his hand, and have a man-to-man conversation. But who knows? For now, I just want to be myself again.”
"I don't have the right words to say. I know the haters will distort everything I say. I wasn't there; I was finding out what had happened at the same time as everyone else. Later, I came to understand what really happened, because there's a lot of misinformation circulating. So don't believe everything you see edited out there."
Lastly, Rampage made it clear that he doesn't let his son off the hook and asked his fans for understanding.
"You need to know that I do not approve of Raja's behavior. I hope Syko Stu can forgive me, as a father, for not understanding everything at that moment. We'll see what happens from here. I won't talk about this anymore. I'm moving on."
Syko Stu is currently hospitalized in critical condition, with an online fundraiser that has already raised over $130 to help with medical costs. Raja Jackson, meanwhile, has not commented since the incident, while the Los Angeles police investigate the case, with no arrests confirmed.
