Amidst the great confusion surrounding his next fight in the octagon, Valter Walker finally seems to have found someone willing to face him. After Ryan Spann declined an invitation to fight the Rio native at UFC Rio, it appears that Mohammed Usman has raised his hand to fight on October 11th in Rio de Janeiro. According to information from reporter Higor Ciconello of ESPN Brasil, the contract has not yet been signed, but the fight has been offered to both fighters.
Still on his official Instagram account, Valter joked about the situation and posted a photo of the Nigerian without a foot, indicating that he will be looking for his fourth consecutive submission in the organization.

As requested, the Brazilian will face an athlete outside the heavyweight rankings (up to 120,2kg). Mohammed, who is Kamaru Usman 's brother , has four wins in six appearances in the octagon. If he manages to beat Valter, the Nigerian will move up to 14th place in the division's ranking.

Walker vs. Spann is not going to happen.
Previously, the UFC's plans were to hold Walker vs. Spann. The news, which was first reported by reporter Léo Guimarães of SUPER LUTAS, ultimately fell through after, according to Valter, his opponent declared he was recovering from a hand injury.
