The UFC fighter Rayanne dos Santos announced, this Wednesday (28), that she is pregnant with her first child. The news was shared on her official Instagram profile and marks a pause in the trajectory of the Pará native in professional MMA, at least during pregnancy and the first months of motherhood.

The baby is the result of her relationship with fellow wrestler Kolton Englund, who plays in the United States. In an emotional post, Rayanne celebrated this new personal milestone and expressed gratitude for the "blessing" that has come into her life.

"We are so happy with this blessing from God in our lives. Our first child came at the right time, in God's time! I have no words to describe this beautiful moment. I am so in love with this baby growing in my womb. We already love you so much, our future black belt," the athlete wrote.

As a result, Rayanne must temporarily step away from her intense training and fighting routine, and there is still no forecast for her return to the octagon.
