Carlos Prates already has an opponent, date, and location for his return to the octagon. The Brazilian faces the former champion Leon edwards in a duel valid for the welterweight division (up to 77 kg), at UFC 322, which takes place on November 15. The announcement was made by the organization's president, Dana White, on Thursday night (28).
Carlos comes in hot after a spectacular knockout over Geoff neal at UFC 319 in August of this year, when he knocked out his opponent with a spinning elbow in the first round and secured his fifth Performance of the Night bonus.

After the triumph, the Brazilian even requested a spot at UFC Rio and cited Edwards as his ideal opponent. However, negotiations for his presence in Brazil stalled.
On the other hand, Edwards is still looking to get back to winning ways after defeats to Belal Muhammad | e Sean brady, which kept him out of contention for the division's belt.
The Englishman, currently number 4 in the rankings, had already signaled that he intended to fight again in November, on the New York card, which will have Jack Della Maddalena e Islam makhachev in the main fight of the night.
