“My pace is very good, I’m going to drown this guy with gas, put pressure on him… in the third, fourth or fifth I’ll finish him off,” explained Borralho.

In addition to conditioning, Caio emphasized his focus on grappling training. According to him, exhaustive repetition of movements is the key to achieving results. The confident Brazilian believes that if he can take the fight to the ground, he will defeat Imavov.

"Today was a very detailed training session, with a lot of adjustments. We did one position about 500 times, then another position about 500 times. I think that's what elevates that extra 1% you need to this high level. I'm very confident in my jiu-jitsu, in what I can do, and you can be sure, brother, that after I get on the ground, my neck will be tight," said the Fighting Nerds representative.

No UFC Paris, Caio Borralho e Nassourdine Imavov duel for a chance to fight for the middleweight belt (up to 83,9 kg). In addition to 'Nerd', Brazil will have Mauricio Ruffy na co-main event e Patrick Pitbull at the opening of the main card.
