Greatest fighter in the history of women's MMA, Amanda nunes continues to prepare for his long-awaited return to the octagon. After announcing his retirement in June 2023, shortly after defeating Irene aldana No. UFC 289, the former bantamweight (up to 61,2 kg) and featherweight (up to 65,7 kg) champion is back in the anti-doping testing program and is working to face the current owner of the 61,2 kg belt, Kayla harrison.
The duel between the former training partners gained even more strength after the UFC 316, in June, when Harrison finished Julianna Pena and saw Amanda step into the octagon for a face-off. Now, months later, with no official announcement yet made, one of the Brazilian's main coaches, Din Thomas, has brought news about the possible date of the fight.

“We’re in the lab, cooking right now. Amanda and I, she’s putting together a team. We’re cooking right now and she hopes to (fight) in December,” Thomas revealed in an interview with UFC Unfiltered.
According to the coach, the 'Lioness' is in good health and is injury-free, which makes planning for her return easier.
"She said, 'I'm going crazy. I need to find something to do.' She's healthy, injury-free, and now we're organizing her life, camp, and training so she'll be ready in December, if December happens. Injury-free, as strong and clean as possible," he concluded.
So far, the UFC has not yet made any event official for December, but the expectation is that the duel between Amanda nunes e Kayla harrison lead the UFC 323.
