Caio Borralho almost shared the octagon with anthony hernandez. The Brazilian, scheduled for the main fight of the UFC Paris, scheduled for September 6, has not been in action since August de 2024 and, during the period of inactivity, he even had a verbal agreement to face 'Fluffy'.

“When no one wanted to fight me, I said his name (anthony hernandez) on X, but he doesn't have an X. But someone sent it to him on Instagram. He came to me on Instagram and said, 'Dude, I saw you said my name. Let's do this fight.' And I was like, 'Yeah, man. That's what I'm talking about. Let's do this with respect. But let's do it.' That's what we do. We fight," said the Fighting Nerds representative.

According to Borralho, Hernandez signaled to the UFC that he wanted the fight, but later informed that the organization had other plans for him.

“A week later he said, ‘Okay, I’m going to tell the UFC that I want this fight, let’s do it.’ I said, ‘Okay, I’m ready in July, August.’ He came to me and said, ‘Oh, the UFC has other plans for me,’ and I said, ‘Okay, bro, but I respect you for taking it.’” Caio Borralho.
