The main fight of UFC Paris, this Saturday (6), continues to divide opinions among sports icons. One day after Israel Adesanya betting on Caio Borralho's victory about Nassourdine Imavov, it was the turn to Robert whittaker, also a former middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg), gives his prediction. For the Australian, the Frenchman has the advantage in a duel that could determine the next challenger for the belt. Khamzat Shimaev.
"I'm very curious because both guys are on a roll. They're both making things work. I think they'll cancel each other out in the grappling, so I predict a five-round standup fight. I think it'll go to a decision. They're both very tough and focused. But I think Imavov will be the more technical guy over five rounds. I think Imavov will win the decision," Whittaker predicted in an interview with Submission Radio.

The former champion also raised doubts about Borralho's preparation. The Brazilian was the official reserve for the duel between Dricus Du Plessis e Khamzat Shimaev, at UFC 319, and had to undergo a weight cut just a month before facing Imavov in Paris.
"I don't think cutting weight a month before your fight is the best idea. Usually, after a fight or a heavy cut, I get sick because my immune and nervous systems go down. I don't know, I don't think it's the best thing to do," he said.
The confrontation between Caio Borralho e Nassourdine Imavov happens in the main fight of UFC Paris, at the Accor Arena. The Brazilian is ranked seventh in the middleweight rankings, while the Frenchman is ranked number two in the division. The winner should secure a title fight against the champion. Khamzat Shimaev.
