Arman Tsarukyan, who made headlines by defeating Charles Oliveira, is close to finalizing his next fight against Dan Hooker as the main event of UFC Qatar on November 22nd. This information was reported by the website [website name missing]. Red Corner MMA, although the duel has not yet been officially confirmed by the organization.
The rivalry between the two fighters has intensified in recent months. Tsarukyan withdrew from the lightweight (up to 70,3kg) title fight against Islam Makhachev at UFC 311 due to a back injury suffered the day before the event.

The decision generated public criticism from the New Zealander, who questioned the veracity of the injury and commented on the Armenian's finances. Hooker, in turn, also ended up out of UFC 313 due to a hand injury, which led Tsarukyan to taunt him on social media.
"Karma makes no mistakes. Big mouth, glass hands. Maybe it's better to just talk than to fight," the Armenian said at the time.
UFC Qatar is also expected to feature Paulo Borrachinha, who revealed he received an offer from the organization to face Shara Magomedov in the co-main event in the Middle East.

At UFC 300, Tsarukyan defeated Charles Oliveira by split decision in a balanced and intense fight, in which he withstood several submission attempts and imposed his ground game.
The back injury that forced Tsarukyan out of the title fight was a major blow to his career, and the fighter described the decision not to enter the octagon as 'the hardest of my life'. Renato Moicano was scheduled to replace him against Makhachev at UFC 311, but ended up being submitted in the first round.
