O UFC Paris suffered a major loss on the eve of the event. During the official weigh-in, held in the early hours of this Friday (5), the fight between Patrick Pitbull and Losene Keita, scheduled for the main card, was canceled after the Belgian athlete failed on the scale.
Scheduled to debut in the UFC against Patrick Pitbull, the former two-time Oktagon MMA champion weighed approximately 67,5 kg, about 1,2 kg above the category limit, already considering the pound tolerance valid for fights that do not have a belt at stake.

Moments after Losene Keita's weigh-in, the UFC announced that the fight was canceled.
A Guinean-born Belgian citizen, Losene Keita is considered one of the top prospects in European MMA. At 27, the 'Black Panther' was signed by the UFC with a career record of 16 wins and only one loss and titles in the featherweight (up to 65,7 kg) and lightweight (up to 70,3 kg) divisions at the Czech Oktagon MMA event. This was Keita's first attempt at featherweight since December 2023, when he moved to lightweight.
Losene Keita's failure and the subsequent cancellation of the fight against Patrick Pitbull were the only occurrences of the weighing of the UFC Paris. All other 26 athletes fulfilled their commitments and confirmed the 13 fights of this Saturday's event (6), which has as its main fight Nassourdine Imavov x Caio Borralho in medium weight (up to 83,9 kg).
