Patrick Pitbull did not hide his anger after seeing his commitment in UFC Paris be canceled at the last minute. Scheduled to face Losene Keita this Saturday (6), the Brazilian fulfilled his part by making the weight of the featherweight category (up to 65,7 kg), but his rival was unable to reach the limit and had his long-awaited debut in the Ultimate frustrated.

Two-division champion in the now-defunct Bellator, Patrick Pitbull revealed behind the scenes of Keita's failure and made it clear that he does not intend to give his opponent another chance after the episode that culminated in the cancellation.

"He said in the interview that he was stronger, faster, younger. I gave him all these advantages, plus I allowed this fight to take place here in Paris. He only drove two hours to get there by car. He didn't suffer. His weight was low. He arrived at 74 kg, just like I did, and he still didn't make weight. Since I gave him all the advantages, plus the time difference, and he still didn't make weight, I wouldn't give him that advantage anymore. I don't fight for money anymore, I fight for legacy. I'm not going to give this guy that advantage," he said.

When detailing the behind-the-scenes, the Rio Grande do Norte native accused Keita of not even trying to cut weight to the limit allowed by the athletic commission and mocked his rival with a new nickname.

"I'm absolutely certain he didn't try to get in the bathtub. He was surrounded by kids here, there wasn't an older man to reassure him. He arrived at the commission, weighed in, came out on top, and instead of pushing himself to the limit, he ate banana puree, my brother. Baby puree. Fuck you, man. If you want to blame someone, blame my opponent. His nickname is Black Panther, but he's the Fat Panther," he concluded.

With the cancellation of the fight in Paris, Pitbull now focuses on fighting at home. The Brazilian expressed his desire to be part of the card. UFC Rio, which takes place on October 12, and stated that he is willing to face any opponent, as long as he fulfills the obligation to make weight.
