The expectation for the rematch between Wanderlei Silva e Vitor belfort, scheduled for September 27th in the second edition of Spaten Fight Night, suffered a hard blow last Thursday (4). The 'Phenomenon, who had been training for the boxing fight, announced his withdrawal from the duel due to a grade 3 concussion, but the 'Mad Dog' didn't let it go.

On Instagram, Wanderlei shared a screenshot of a direct message sent to Belfort, accusing him of lacking the courage to continue the fight. Belfort, in turn, saw the message and didn't respond.

“You wimp,” wrote the Curitiba native, who is still waiting for a new opponent to be chosen for the event.

This isn't the first time a rematch between the two has been postponed due to Vitor's injuries. In 2012, the fight was scheduled for UFC 147, following both men's appearances on the reality show 'The Ultimate Fighter Brazil,' but a broken hand in the 'Phenomenon' postponed the fight indefinitely.
