By little, Carlos Prates did not become another member of the Fighting Nerds to take action in the UFC Paris, which takes place next Saturday (6). The smoker traveled to France to follow Caio Borralho and Maurício Ruffy, who are in the main fights of the event, and, during the ceremonial weigh-in, got involved in a heated argument with the team Nassourdine Imavov.

In a video released by 'Inside Fighting', Carlos Prates appears to be in an agitated argument with the Frenchman's team. In the footage, the fighter had to be restrained by security and even by coach Pablo Sucupira.

Fighting Nerds at UFC Paris

Despite the tense moment starring Carlos Prates, Caio Borralho and Maurício Ruffy will be the only representatives of Fighting Nerds to take part in the UFC Paris. 'The Natural' faces Nassourdine Imavov in the main event, in a duel that could determine the next challenger in the middleweight division (up to 83,9 kg). Ruffy faces Benoît Saint-Denis in a fight that could cement his entry into the top 15 of the lightweight division (up to 70,3 kg).

After knock off Geoff neal No. UFC 319, Carlos Prates asked for the chance to face Leon edwards at UFC Rio. Although Dana White liked the idea, the Brazilian's request was only partially accepted. The welterweight (up to 77 kg) faces the former champion at UFC 322, scheduled for November 15th in New York.
