Kaue Fernandes blew Harry Hardwick's legs off in the UFC Paris. The teammate of José Aldo, from Nova União, was the first Brazilian to step into the Octagon at the event and gave his opponent no chance. In the first round, he relied on low kicks to knock out the British fighter, who left the arena in a wheelchair.

With victory, Kaue Fernandes reached the mark of three consecutive victories in the UFC, the second in which low kicks were his main weapon. In his triumph over Guram Kutateladze, the Rio native also punished the Georgian's leg with blows to the calves and won by unanimous decision.

On the other hand, Hardwick debuted with a loss in the organization. The Brit accepted the fight in the week of UFC Paris, replacing fares ziam.
