Responsible for increasing the climate of rivalry before the Night UFC, Jean Silva reinforced his dislike for Diego lopes. Scheduled to face each other this Saturday (13), in Texas (USA), the fighters will face each other in a green and yellow duel with an eye on the possible opportunity to become the next challengers for the featherweight title (up to 65,7 kg) in case of victory.
Known for his provocative personality, 'Lord' did not hesitate to declare war on his compatriot and made a point of highlighting the negative feelings he had for the Manaus native before the confrontation.

“I’ll be perfectly clear: I don’t like Diego. In Brazil, we say that the saint didn’t get along, so I can assure you that my saint didn’t get along with his. I create my reality, I create my present, and I create my future. So, you can be sure, I’m going to hit him.” Diego lopes and I am the next champion”, declared Jean in a recording for the Night UFC.
Currently ranked 10th in the division, Jean is expected to steal the second-place spot held by Diego. Longtime rivals, the fighters were already exchanging provocations even before the fight was scheduled to take place. According to Nerd, Lopes mistreated him on one occasion, which sparked anger toward the former title challenger.
On the other hand, Diego is only betting on responding to provocations, without taking the initiative to attack his rival. A big underdog in the bookmakers, the Manaus native is looking to return to winning ways in the main fight of the event that takes place this Saturday (13).
