Jean Silva details confusion with Diego Lopes backstage at Noche UFC: 'Bigger dogs educated the smaller ones'

Jean Silva e Diego lopes almost anticipated the main duel of the Night UFC, scheduled for next Saturday (13). The protagonists met at the hotel and, according to the representative of Fighting Nerds, the episode almost ended in confusion.

In an interview with MMA Junkie, Jean Silva explained how the meeting with Diego lopes behind the scenes of the event. According to the fighter, his team, made up of physically larger athletes, 'educated' his rival's team, made up of smaller fighters.

“I was with my team, he was with his team of 66, 61 (kg), and I was with my team of 77, 84. So I think the bigger dogs educated the smaller dogs,” said Jean.

Jean stated that he exchanged glances with Diego lopes, who, upon noticing the presence of security guards, threatened to advance. However, Flavio Álvaro warned him that this would not be a good idea.

"He said a few things. I was walking up the stairs, looking him in the eye. Then he said, 'Did you like it?' and I don't know what. Then, when the security guards got in the way, he kind of showed some excitement about coming for me. Then my team kind of looked, and Flávio (Álvaro) said, 'Bro, you better stay there, or you're going to get ripped off here.' So, like... you know how Brazilians are, right?" he explained.
