In full preparation to face Raphael Fiziev at UFC Rio, Charles of the Bronx doesn't seem worried about returning to the octagon just a few months after being brutally knocked out by Ilia Topuria. In fact, Leão Embaçado made it clear that the duel to be held on October 11th has nothing to do with the negative experience lived in the defeat to the Georgian/Spanish.

In an interview with the program 'The Ariel Helwani Show' on YouTube this Wednesday (10), the former lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg.) minimized the concerns of some fans and media with the little rest time in this sequence of opponents.
"I'm happy for people who talk about this for my own good (recovery time), but others talk about it to keep the hype going. What's done is done. Tomorrow is the next step. This is a new fight, a new place. I'm very grateful to have this opportunity and to continue doing what I'm supposed to do, regardless of those who want to talk bad about me," said the Brazilian.

When asked by the Canadian reporter if he would accept returning on the same date if the event was not held on national soil, do Bronx was sincere in admitting that the proposal for the fight was compatible with his personal plan for his return.
"I wanted to get back to fighting as soon as possible, and then UFC Rio came along. I wanted to fight in October, in front of my family and my fans. So one thing led to another," said the São Paulo native.
