In addition to the expected duel between Diego Lopes and Jean Silva in the main event, this Saturday's UFC Night (13) also brings a historic moment to the public. Alice Pereira from Bahia , just 19 years old, will become the youngest fighter in history to step into the world's most famous octagon against Mexican Montserrat Rendon on the preliminary card, in a fight valid for the bantamweight category (61,2 kg).

Alice, known as Golden Girl , has an undefeated record with six wins, with only one of those fights going to a judges' decision. After her last victory, against Samara Santos last December, she wore a shirt printed with a message for UFC matchmaker Mick Maynard, in which she asked for a chance in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

The request was granted on Christmas Eve, in a video call between the athlete and Maynard himself. In March of this year, Alice spoke about the emotion she experienced and her expectations for her debut in the world's biggest MMA event in an exclusive interview with SUPER LUTAS.

"Actually, when we were planning all this writing, the videos, and the shirt we were going to post, we figured the contract would come. My hope was that the contract would come by the 20th (of December) because my birthday is on the 19th (...) The video reached Mick Maynard, we saw that he had seen it, he liked it, and when the contract didn't arrive that week, we had lost hope. (I thought), 'Yeah, it's not going to happen, next year we'll have a fight and try again.' But it turned out that on the 24th, I got a call from Mick. He had made a shirt wishing me Merry Christmas and saying I was in. Then we realized it was a surprise," said the Brazilian, who began fighting professionally in 2023 and represents the 'Life MMA' team.

At 36, Montserrat has six wins and only one loss on her professional record. Besides having fought in the UFC twice, the Mexican also had the opportunity to compete in Invicta, a pioneering organization in the development of women's MMA. Unlike the Brazilian, she has never won or lost a fight in the fast lane.
