That hurt! Fighter collapses after brutal low kick and fight ends in a no-contest at UFC Noche

O duelo entre Zachary Reese e Sedriques Dumas, válido pelo peso médio (até 83,9 kg), no Noche UFC deste sábado (13) terminou de forma anticlimática e extremamente dolorosa. Ainda no primeiro assalto, Reese acertou um chute muito potente na região genital de Dumas, que imediatamente foi ao chão demonstrando muita dor. Após quase quatro minutos tentando se recuperar, o norte-americano não foi capaz sequer de se levantar e ficar em pé, forçando o árbitro a interromper o combate, que terminou sem resultado.

The result was declared “no contest” because the referee interpreted the blow as accidental. Caso tivesse considerado a ação proposital, Zachary Reese poderia ter sido disqualified, which would change the official outcome of the confrontation.
