Although not officially confirmed, the fight between Paddy Pimblett and Ilia Topuria is already generating positive press coverage internationally. Even though the current lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg) holds the number one spot in the Ultimate's pound-for-pound rankings and is undefeated in 17 professional fights, the Englishman's coach, Paul Rimmer, believes that "The Bad Guy" will have no difficulty defeating his opponent and becoming the new titleholder.

“He (Pimblett) is going to make a bloody mess of (Topuria’s) face, that’s what I know is going to happen,” Rimmer said.
