Renato Moicano believes that the departure from the strategy was the decisive factor in the defeat of Jean Silva No. Night UFC, held last Saturday (13). The Brazilian, nicknamed 'nerd', was knocked out by Diego lopes in the main fight of the event and, according to his compatriot, the mistake was not listening to his coach's instructions.

In a video posted to his YouTube channel, Moicano analyzed Jean's posture in the octagon and drew attention to his excessive spinning punches. The lightweight noted that Pablo Sucupira tried to calm the athlete down during the break, but his instructions were not followed.
"Curupira (Sucupira) came up to him and said, 'Man, you have five rounds, you're not going to solve this now. You can't spin, he caught you with a silly spin.' How many spins did he throw? He threw more than three. So, okay, if the guy wins, everyone calls him 'genius,' but sometimes he loses... I think Jean might be shaken by that," said Moicano.
Signed through the Contender Series, Jean Silva had won five consecutive UFC fights, four by knockout and one by submission, before the setback against Diego lopes.
