After putting on a show against Jared Cannonier at UFC 319 and challenging Carlos Prates , Michael Page found himself ignored by the Fighting Nerds star and is now targeting another potential opponent, also in the welterweight division (up to 77,1 kg). Aiming to break into the top 10 of the division, MVP expressed his desire to face Ecuadorian Michael Morales , ranked seventh and undefeated in 18 professional fights.

According to the fighter himself, he even contacted the Ultimate matchmakers to try to make the fight a reality. He spoke about the matter while promoting his own event, Total Kombat.
“Actually, I asked for an undefeated fighter. I’m going to start beating everyone — Michael Morales , he’s about 18-0. Again, silence. I think that would be perfect. I would fight him and then fight the winner of Leon and Prates in the UK, I hope,” the fighter stated.

Morales, who is only 26 years old, has already defeated important names in the category such as Neil Magny and Gilbert Burns , whom he knocked out in his last appearance in the octagon. Despite the revelation made by the Englishman, there is no forecast for the return of either of them. Carlos Prates will face Leon Edwards at UFC 322 on November 15th.
Michael Page only has one loss in the UFC
After building a career in Bellator and defeating names like Douglas Lima , MVP debuted in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) last March with a unanimous decision victory against Kevin Holland . Since then, he has competed in two different weight classes and has only experienced defeat against Ian Garry in a three-round fight at UFC 303. In addition to his wins against Holland and Cannonier, the Briton also became the first athlete to defeat Shara Magomedov , in February of this year.
