Paulo Borrachinha woke up inspired to stir up social media last Monday (15). After revealing that he had received an offer to replace Anthony Hernandez and face Reinier de Ridder , at UFC Vancouver , the Minas Gerais native lashed out at his own category.

In response to a post by the profile 'José Louis' on the social network 'X', Borrachinha criticized MMA fans and content creators, claiming that, with the exception of himself and champion Khamzat Chimaev , the rest of the middleweight division (up to 83,9 kg) is 'irrelevant'.

"You guys just don't see things because you're so biased, you fall for every damn thing you hear. You believe your own lies. Wake up, bitches. Chimaev and I are the only ones who matter at 84 kg. The rest is irrelevant. They're just facts. If you disagree, I respect that and suggest changing the UFC's mind. Send an email to the UFC and show your outrage," the fighter taunted.

Paulo Borrachinha stated that he would accept the offer to face Reinier de Ridder at UFC Vancouver on October 18th, provided the fight was three rounds due to the short preparation time. According to the Brazilian fighter, this condition was rejected by the Dutchman, who ended up having the American Brendan Allen as his new opponent.
