Considered one of the biggest academies in MMA, Fighting Nerds, like many others, has finally reached a low point in its UFC career. Composed of big names, including fighters and coaches, the team is now seeking redemption and can once again dream of winning belts in at least four different weight classes.
On its social media, the Fighting Nerds account spoke out for the entire team, recalling their history of success and recognizing the need to rebuild themselves amidst this difficult time.

"In just three years in the UFC, we've come very close to the top. We've had over 30 fights during that time, with a record success rate. We put on a show in our matches and collected bonuses. Now we've reached a point where we need to get our feet back on the ground and see what we can improve. We'll get it right. We lost and showed our flaws, our human side. But this will bring the team closer to the fans. We're sure that after the criticism, there will be a lot of affection. That's the sport. The future is in our hands," they posted on their official Instagram account.
The publication is due to the fact that three of its four main representatives ended up losing in their last appearances and received great pressure and criticism from the public. Caio Borralho, Mauricio Ruffy and finally Jean Silva, ended up being surpassed by their respective opponents in the octagon.
